my known world

Paris is a thumbprint; each groove a city street from above. It's identity is best discovered lost in the maze.

London is a circus of Wizards. So many colored balls chasing each other in the air then landing in row would be unbelievable if it were not the work of Wizards.

Brighton is a pebble skipping across a placid ocean.

Manchester is an ancient tree, it's great limbs embracing the city of life it hosts.

Mainz is the poignant call of a gracefull Mourning Dove feeding it's hatchlings.

Frankfurt is a scyscraper made of stacked bones. Oh! but Frankfurt has the Rhine! Sometimes the Rhine regrets having Frankfurt...

Bacharach and St.Goar are a pair of playful children telling each other fairy tales that they themselves star in.

Geneva is a cascading waterfall. You can't even tell it's manmade!

Saas-Fee is (of course), an alpine peak glimmering like gold in the sun.

Amsterdam is a land made of moss, so cool and absorbant.

Berlin is a traumatized and grieving recovering junky.

Istanbul is a majestic stone tower rising out of the sea. The gentle turquoise waves lapping at its base has the tantalizingly hushed sound of an oud.

Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a sand dune. It is constantly changing with the forces of the wind, but it is always still a sand dune.
